Our copper-hued metal cards have a sophisticated brushed surface finish and are available in three thicknesses.

KEY FEATURES

CUT & ETCH

Using our advanced photochemical and laser milling processes, we cut through the metal with incredible precision and etch the surface with bespoke fonts and graphics. For example, we can cut your company logo through the metal or add interest to the design by adding intricate geometric patterns, perforations and grilles.

Three THICKNESSES

Our copper metal cards are available in two thicknesses. The 300 micron card has memory, allowing it to spring back to shape when lightly flexed. Choose the 800 micron metal for a super-rigid, weighty card. The 500 micron option sits between the two and is a great compromise between weight and rigidity.

Custom Shaping

Not only can we cut through the metal, but we can also alter the shape of the card itself by cutting away material from the perimeter. Moreover, as long as the desired shape fits within the dimensions of a standard card, there is no additional charge.

Pantone® polymer infill

Our copper metal cards are available with polymer infills as standard. We start by etching a negative of the artwork into the metal. We then pour the polymer into the recessed etched area. All unetched text and graphics stand proud in glorious copper, surrounded by the sophisticated matt finish of the coloured polymer.

  1. Text and graphics are chemically milled away from the card by first applying a photo-resistive film to the surface and exposing the metal to acid.

  2. Once the surface has been etched, the lighter core of the material is exposed, ensuring contrast and legibility. Optional Pantone polymer infills can then be inserted into the recessed area.

  3. Precision cut-throughs are achieved by etching in the same positions on the front and back of the stainless steel, until the two areas meet, forming a hole.

Free Design Service

We provide a completely free design service to all customers who do not already have artwork. Once we have collected a few pieces of information, our design team will put together an initial concept and first draft. We then create a photo-realistic digital mockup using our innovative proofing system. This shows how the card would look once produced. Using your feedback, we make revisions until you are 100% happy with the layout.
