Cyclone (Members Only)There has been a large time gap between this image and my last attempt at a space scene. I am very pleased with the results. This is the first image to be available at a resolution of 1920x1400 to members ; suitable for Apple Cinema Displays and similar monitors. |

Collision Course Something a little different for me; my first attempt at a space landscape. The lens and anamorphic flare were added after initial render using Photoshop 7 as I couldn't get exactly what I was after purely from Vue 4. |

Martian (Members Only)One of the things that fascinated me most as a kid was the stars and planets. To some extent I guess I have lost some interest as I have gotten older; mainly because I am forced to worry about much more mundane things like debts, work and a football team that never wins. But recently there seems to have been a flurry of news stories focusing on mans latest endeavors into space and particularly Mars. So I sat down and tried to create what I believe the surface of the red planet may look like. |

Charon Colony (Members Only) This image is an artistic interpretation of Charon, Pluto's only moon. Said to have an atmosphere of methane & nitrogen it is thought that the temperature on it's surface is a constant minus 234C and unsurprisingly covered in strange ice formations. Not discovered until 1978, Charon is of a similar size to Pluto. For this reason many scientists argue that Pluto and Charon are 'double' planets. Here endeth the lesson! |
Cold Night This images try to depict the desolation and harshness of an arctic environment. The floating blocks of ice were created by clipping a normal terrain, tilting it and then partially submerging it. |

The Balcony (Night Edition) Based on a photo I came across while browsing through a brochure of the Seychelles, I borrowed the yacht from an earlier image (The Needles). Photoshop was used to add the algae above the waterline of the two submerged rocks. I feel this image is probably the best i have produced yet. |
