Type: Translucent plastic business card

Our tinted translucent plastic cards are created by chemically laminating a plastic colour gel with a layer of translucent polymer. Our artisan hot foil printers apply the ink to the cards surface using traditional methods.
Type: Wood business card
Species: Bamboo
To ensure the structural integrity of the card, we use three layers. The outer facing surfaces comprise of real wood veneer. The core is strengthened using a high-density fibreboard, eliminating any weakness along the grain and allowing us to cut intricate patterns without fear of fragility.
Type: Matt Laminate Card

We exclusively designed this logo to compliment Mark's cider bottles as part of our free design service. The logo has then been printed on our 400gsm ultra white stock. We applied a thin layer of matt finish plastic to the front and back surfaces. This matt lamination gives the card a unique texture while offering protection against discolouration and fading.

The Zara metal card is carved from marine grade stainless steel. The map and logo have been etched into the surface of the metal exposing the lighter core of the steel. Being 400 micron thick, the card is extremely rigid. The thicker steel also allows us to etch on both sides of the card.

Each of our bespoke wooden business cards is carved using CO2 laser-milling machines. We can then laser engrave the text and graphics into the surface of the venner at an astonishing resolution of 1200dpi.

Designed and crafted for Kennedys, this business card is produced using our satin black plastic. The text, logo and graphical detailing are printed using a chrome-like metallic silver ink. The handcrafted nature of our printing process allows for complex alignment and bleeds. This is demonstrated here by the intricate design running across the top quarter of the card and bleeding off of three edges.

The logo on this card is chemically milled away from the surface. Once the matt finish has been etched away the lighter steel beneath is exposed, ensuring perfect contrast and legibility. The cut-throughs are achieved by etching into the same position on the front and back of the stainless steel, until the two areas meet, forming a hole.

Our gold metal cards are produced using polished, rolled bronze. The card has a degree of memory, allowing it to spring back to shape when lightly flexed. Moreover, because we apply a protective oleophobic coating, everyday use will not cause it to tarnish or corrode.

Using our 760 micron thick translucent plastic, this card combines our eye catching metallic orange and black gloss inks. The graphics have been reproduced by pressing the inks between our metal print plates and the plastic. Using heat and pressure this hand printing process carefully stamps each colour onto the surface of the card, resulting in a stunning registration.

Carved using a state of the art CO2 laser-milling machine, Adam Fox's card combines an intricately etched design with the natural beauty of wood. At 3mm thick, the bamboo's structural integrity remains solid even with the addition of some laser cut throughs at the top of the card.

As well as laser etching and cutting, we hand print contact details and spot-colour logos onto the Perspex® using a range of vegetable-based pigment and metallic inks. This examples demonstrates our metallic holoprint (diffraction) ink which behaves very much like to back of the cd as it splits white light hitting the surface into the colours of the spectrum.

Each ‘hello’ card has been debossed in our traditional letterpress printing process. We firstly etched our designer's artwork into a metal block. We then used this to embed the white ink, one at a time, into the surface of the custom coloured card stock. The result is a uniquely visual and tactile finish unlike that found in any other sort of production technique.

The iiNet metal business card uses a complex combination of etching and cutting to replicate the company logo. Most of the contact details are etched on to the back of the card, leaving the front clean and uncluttered. There is no additional cost associated with double sided etching.
Type: Matt Laminate Card

Our matt laminate cards are printed on 350gsm ultra white stock. Both sides are printed in full colour as standard. We then apply an ultra-thin layer of matt protective finish plastic to the front and back surfaces. Colours are vibrant; text is crisp. This card has also had an optional UV spot gloss applied to the logo to add a contrast in textures.

The Big Mo's Club business card has been crafted using our luxurious satin white plastic and demonstrates our ability to reproduce highly detailed graphics using metallic inks. The plastic is the same thickness as a standard credit card and has a white core to match the surface colour.

Our rose gold metal cards are produced using polished bronze. The 400 micron thick metal means we can cut intricate perforations without the risk of fragility. The card also has a degree of memory, allowing it to spring back to shape when lightly flexed.
Type: Translucent plastic business card

As well as being both biodegradable and compostable, the plastic remains as recyclable as conventional plastics. The polymer is designed to degrade within 36 months. The translucent nature of the plastic means that text and graphics printed on its back can be viewed from the front. This allows us to create compelling visual effects with rear side printing appearing to sit behind graphics and text printed on the front face.

The background image on this card has been digitally printed on our 400gsm ultra white stock. We applied a thin layer of matt finish plastic to the front and back surfaces. This matt lamination gives the card a unique texture while offering protection against discolouration and fading. Using our optional foiling process we have then carefully laid a striking metallic gold ink onto each card for the logo.
