Type: Satin black plastic business card
Thickness: 760 micron
Designed and crafted for Kennedys, this business card is produced using our satin black plastic. The text, logo and graphical detailing are printed using a chrome-like metallic silver ink. The handcrafted nature of our printing process allows for complex alignment and bleeds. This is demonstrated here by the intricate design running across the top quarter of the card and bleeding off of three edges.
Type: Tinted translucent plastic card
Thickness: 760 micron
Our tinted translucent plastic cards are created by chemically laminating a plastic colour gel with a layer of translucent polymer. Our artisan hot foil printers apply the ink to the cards surface using traditional methods resulting in a truly unique finish.
Type: Black metal business card
Thickness: 300 micron
The logo on this card is chemically milled away from the surface. Once the matt finish has been etched away the lighter steel beneath is exposed, ensuring perfect contrast and legibility. The cut-throughs are achieved by etching into the same position on the front and back of the stainless steel, until the two areas meet, forming a hole.
Type: Letterpress Business Card
Thickness: 900gsm
Each 'Woodworker' card has been painstakingly handcrafted using our traditional letterpress technique. We first etch the artwork into a metal block. We then use this to gently embed each ink, one at a time, into the surface of the stock. This gives a uniquely visual and tactile interest to the business card quite unlike that found in any other sort of production technique.
Type: Gold Metal Business Card
Thickness: 300 micron
Our gold metal cards are produced using polished, rolled bronze. The card has a degree of memory, allowing it to spring back to shape when lightly flexed. Moreover, because we apply a protective oleophobic coating, everyday use will not cause it to tarnish or corrode.
Type: Wood business card
Species: Black Walnut
Crafted using our CO2 laser milling process, this card demonstrates the extraordinary accuracy and power of the laser as we have been able to cut away a decorative jungle pattern. The logo has then been etched into the surface of the card at a resolution of 1200dpi. The result is an eye catching card that sits perfectly alongside this company's branding.
Type: Metal business card
Thickness: 300 micron
The Cirkus metal card is carved from marine grade stainless steel. Part of the logo has been etched into the surface of the metal exposing the lighter core of the steel. The outer stars have been fully cut through the steel to provide an extra visual interest and add contrast between the two areas.
Type: Matt Laminate Card
Thickness: 400gsm
Our matt laminate cards are printed on 350gsm ultra white stock. Both sides are printed in full colour as standard. We then apply an ultra-thin layer of matt protective finish plastic to the front and back surfaces. Colours are vibrant; text is crisp. This card has also had an optional UV spot gloss applied to the face to add a contrast in textures.
Type: Satin plastic business card
Thickness: 760 micron
The Amarist business card, crafted from our satin black plastic, utilises two inks; a pigment white and an eyecatching metallic copper. The majority of the contact details have been printed on to the back of the card, allowing for a clean, contemporary look.

For the Great North Firewood card we’ve applied a chrome-like metallic silver and metallic copper ink. Our artisan hot foil printers apply the ink to the card’s surface using traditional methods.
Type: Full Colour Plastic Card

Our full colour plastic business cards are particularly suited to photographic images and graphics that include gradients. The digital printing presses use a conventional CMYK reproduction process, capable of a wide colour gamut.

The printed artwork is sandwiched between two crystal clear sheets of sturdy PVC. Heat is applied to ensure a good bond between the artwork and protective coating. The gloss or matt finish is added to the outside surface of the PVC by using either polished of sandblasted metal plates respectively.

Using our 760 micron thick translucent plastic, this card combines our eye catching metallic light green and silver inks. We have also used a black gloss ink to emphasise the company name. The graphics have been reproduced by pressing the inks between our metal print plates and the plastic. Using heat and pressure this hand printing process carefully stamps each colour onto the surface of the card.

The OK Media business card showcases our ability to print to the very edge of all four sides of the card. Most automated processes rely on clamping the card in place while being printed, ruling out designs that bleed off the edge of the card. The bespoke, handcrafted nature of our printing process does away with clamps, allowing us to reproduce designs like this one.
