There are a range of different News Readers available. Different News Readers work on different operating systems, so you will need to take this into account when you make your choice. As a Mac user my personal favourite is called 'NewsFire'. Apple has also intergrating an RSS news reader into Safari, the next-gen internet browser currently shipping with Tiger Mac OS X 10.4. NetNewsWire is also highly regarded in the Mac community. Windows users have a wide range of options when it comes to picking a news reader. Newz Crawler, FeedDemon and Awasu are all feature rich, capable news readers compatible with Windows systems. In addition there are also several RSS news reader extensions that Firefox users (on both Windows & Mac) can use, the best of which is called 'Sage'.
