FlameI spent a lot of time creating the unusual cloud scape in this image. Typically I rely on the atmospheres generated by software like Vue 'Esprit and Bryce. But on this occasion, most of the detail in the top half of the image was created using a Wacom tablet and Photoshop CS. Members also have access to a 1600x1200 version and an alternate composition. |

Wind Lake (Members Only)There has been a lot of debate in the south of England over recent months regarding a bank of wind turbines that have been erected in Weymouth Bay. The local residents consider them an eye sore and want them removed. Personally I can think of much worse structures that could be constructed on ones doorstep. And in these times of frequent floods, unusually hot summers and generally strange weather, I think these wind turbines should be encouraged as a way of protecting our planets future. Just my two cents:) |

StrandedThis is my first image after taking a break for a couple of months. (The time was used to execute the site redesign). I think its the British weather that spurs me to create these tropical images. I have noticed that when England has long rainy spells, I feel the urge to create sun-drenched island panoramas. There is also a daytime version included in the ZIP file. This image is available to all at a resolution of 1024x768 and to members at 1600x1200. There are also widescreen versions available to members (at a resolution of 1920x1200). |

Anhui (Members Only)I use a program called Vue to do most of my landscape pieces. I have always found that it is very difficult to get that fiery red sunset look in Vue and have made a deliberate decision to work on perfecting this technique. This image, with it's distinctly oriental feel is the result of this exercise. |

Tropic (Members Only) I have uploaded 'Tropic' to the free-for-all sunset gallery. I have focusing on abstract images recently and thought it was time I turned my hand at the landscape stuff again. Created using Vue d'Esprit 4, this wallpaper follows on from my seemingly popular 'Bora' work. There are two different versions in the downloadable zip file. Each has slightly different coloration. I just couldn't decide which version I preferred so I decided to give you the choice instead! 1600x1200 pixel versions are available to members. |

On The Golden Pond (Members Only) Being only 28, I only vaguely recollect the Henry Fonda film from which I borrowed the title. All I really remember is the beautiful shots of them fishing on a huge lake in the middle of nowhere. That is what I have tried to capture in this image. |

Mill Pond Very recently I have left my old job to pursue a career in graphic design. There are not many things I will miss about my old job, but the travel is one of them. Over the past few years I have spent a lot of time in the US and Europe. One of my favorite places is Holland. The weathers not that good but the place is so clean, the people friendly and the countryside is beautiful. And they have lots of windmills! |

Bora 2002 (Members Only) Every now and then I spend some time looking through my back catalogue of artwork. I often find images that now look tired and dated. One such image is the original version of ' Bora '. So I decided to give it a makeover and completely update it. Bora 2002 is the result. The daytime version is available from the daytime gallery . Monument Cove (Detail)About 6 months ago I created an image called 'Monument Cove' (to be found on page 2 of the sunset gallery). On reviewing my earlier work over Christmas I decided the original wireframe composition could probably be used to better effect. In particular I felt the monument itself wasn't emphasized enough. The above image is the result. I have added extra vegetation and completely redone the atmosphere and water. |

Seclusion (Members Only)Yet another 'tropical' scene, I began creating this image after an exceptionally bad day at work (my day job!). You know. One of those days when everybody seems to be on your back. So I tried to create a place which felt like it was miles from anyone. This is the outcome. |

Shelter (Members Only)There are 2 versions of this image in the downloadable zip file. The first has a more realistic firey orange atmosphere. The second, (shown on the left) was created by adjusting the hue of the original image using Photoshop, to create a psychedelic 'Florida' type sunset. |

Moon Tide (Members Only)This image depicts the high lunar tides found in the tropics. The basic composition was created using Vue d'Esprit 4. The stars and unusual sky gradient (blue through to beige) were added using Adobe Photoshop 7. A bonus version also included. |

Orcas' Playground I have always been fascinated by sea life (I have kept marine fish most of my adult life!). But I have always felt that, due to a flood of cliched prints in the early '90's, people were tired of dolphin and whale pictures. Nevertheless I have finally decided to create one of my own. This image is the result. All comments are welcome. |

HengeThe horse in this image was modeled using Lightwave 7 and imported into Vue 4. I have since been told that this image is similar to a Paul McCartney album cover though I assure you I have never seen it myself! |
