Icarus The bird-like models are the result of an accidental 'multi-replicate instruction which I executed on a elongated sphere. A crystal texture was then applied to each. |

Hops A variation on my last addition to the abstract gallery (Venturi), this is my attempt at recreating the inside of a lager glass! I used it as my own desktop wallpaper for a few hours but it made me feel thirsty every time I looked at it! |
Odd Ball The original concept for this image was to have a wall of chrome ball bearings. I later changed the surface of the spheres and placed the wall off-center giving a nice white space on the left for the users icons. |

NucleusRendered using Bryce 5. If looked at in its original wire frame view, you would see that the image consists of only one transparent sphere with a single green radial light at its centre. The sphere is coated with a blue bumped glass texture. The fact that its structure reminded me of a cell gave rise to the title 'Nucleus' |

Catherine Wheel This image is the result of further attempts to create an image a little less 'busy' than my usual landscape desktop wallpapers. I took my influence for this pieces from a motion blurred photo of a firework I came across while browsing the web. Although fairly simple, I feel it works well as computer wallpaper on a similar level to the way my earlier image 'Surf' does. |
